Company (Software, Networking & Emerging Knowledge — "we", "us", or "our") handles information across everything we operate: our website at thesnekcompany.com, and the mobile, desktop, and web applications we develop and distribute (for example through the Apple App Store and Google Play). We refer to all of these collectively as the "Services" and to any individual application as a "Product".
Our Products differ in what they collect. Some of our Products collect no personal data at all. Others collect only what is described below. These providers process data only as needed to perform their function and are expected to protect it. A Product that collects no data does not share data with these providers. Your use of an app store is also subject to that store's own privacy policy.
We keep personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, or as required by law, and then delete or anonymize it. Server and crash logs are kept for a limited period. Products that collect no personal data retain none.
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including encryption in transit via HTTPS. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or the CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. For Products that support accounts, you can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at the address below. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
Our Services are not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it. Where a specific Product is intended for a general audience, its app store listing reflects the appropriate age rating.
We may process and store information in countries other than your own. Where we transfer personal data internationally, we take steps to ensure it remains protected in accordance with this Policy and applicable law.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. For material changes we will provide a more prominent notice where appropriate. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
